Additional Recruitment Opportunities
Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi
Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi (SAEPi) is a Jewish interest sorority founded at the University of California, Davis in 1998. Since its inception, SAEPI has become a national sorority, expanding to include many chapters nationwide. Their motto is "Spirit, Strength and Sisterhood", and with these foundations they strive to create a sisterhood of strong women from all different backgrounds. They dedicate their time toward community service and philanthropy events to raise money and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and American Jewish World Service. Their close-knit sorority creates sisters for life. From karaoke to roller skating nights, you always have a smile when you are with a Sigma!
SAEPi does not participate in Fall Formal Recruitment but has their own informal recruitment events around the same time.
Stay tuned for updates regarding their events, and check out Sigma's Instagram or website for more information!

Informal Recruitment and COB
Here at UC Davis we hold Formal Recruitment annually at the beginning of Fall Quarter, and this is the primary recruitment process for the Davis Collegiate Panhellenic Association. However, some Panhellenic chapters may host informal recruitment opportunities throughout the year, referred to as Continuous Open Bidding, or "COB". These informal recruitment events are hosted by each individual chapter if their chapter size falls below the chapter size quota set at the beginning of each quarter by the school. Not all chapters participate in informal recruitment, nor are they required to. Chapters will usually hold a few events to meet potential new members if they are eligible for COB.
